Antara Anyer dan Jakarta. Part 02



Jakarta Day 02.

 

We woke up early and get ready for breakfast. We are having nasi goreng, mee goreng, coffee, and tea, prepared by the hotel. well, we were not expecting breakfast buffet. Our first destination was Ancol Dream Park. It's a quite huge park. Somehow it does look like Sunway Pyramid (amm..well not really lah haha) since they have water park inside and the entrance fee cost u about rm40 so we just go jalan2 and pusing there and yeah nothing much to do. we left to Monas Tower than.

 

Monas Tower located where ah hahaha somewhere in the city and there where you can see Jakarta from their rooftop. It took us about 3 to 4 hours to get there from Ancol Park. Blame it to the bad traffic jammed!! We reached Monas Tower and it almost noon. Got bus that will take you from the gate to the tower.

 

Before you get to the rooftop you'll manage to get into their small museum with a lot of small mannequin as a story teller of Indonesian history. It's quite fascinating. Then we went up to the third floor, it's the tower's rooftop, they only have 1st floor (the museum which actually is an underground), 2nd floor, the entrance and 3rd floor the rooftop. Overall it cost u IDR10K to enter the Monas Tower..around RM3 lahh.

 

After an hour we went down took some photo and makan at nearby stall and suprisingly it was quite expensive!! aiyaaa maybe they knew we were not local *big sigh* even our driver told us the baso was not made by pure meat and he promised us to take us to the best baso restaurant in Bandung!!

 

After recharged we went to Muzium Gajah. My God!! another museum ok haha. Artifact. History. Well not bad lah..I actually did learn something new, all this while I thought no one (I mean human living) staying in Kalimantan since they are covered by jungle (part of borneo, sharing the same land with Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei). And actually, there are few natives live at those area. Suprise Suprise!! I thought there got Sega only!! hehe

 

 

After museum we kelam kabut lari to Tanah Abang and sadly most of the shop closed!! as their business hour is from 9am to 5pm daily. and I mekong (frust) the whole day!! So we went back to hotel. Have a quick bath before enjoying Jakarta Nightlive haha. We went to Hard Rock Cafe, chilling and balik tidur!! the next day we decided to shorten our day in Jakarta and went to Bandung!! Luckily we get back our hotel refund from Jakarta as we cancel another night there!!

Antara Anyer dan Jakarta. Part 01

 Jakarta Day 01.

We arrived at Sukarno Hatta Airport at 1300, 1400 Malaysian time.There's an hour gap between Malaysia and Jakarta!! First thing I saw make me deeply sad. All this while I thought it was just another sinetron tricks but witnessing it with my two eyes make me feel grateful for my living now. The poor remains poor. They walk down the road, car passing by, they ask for money, selling stuffs, play some music..for their living. different range of age..the older must be around 50 or 60 years old and the younger (based on their figure, I bet they are 4 or 5 years old).

We have our own driver for this trip from Jakarta to Bandung. We check in at our service apartment at Centrio City upon arrival..have a quick bath and getting excited to explore Jakarta. Well nay, we've been stucked for almost 3 to 4 hours inside car due to the heavy bad traffic jammed..gosh it even worst than KL. It maybe because of the small road they have, only car with minimum 3 passengers allowed to enter the main road during the peak hour. so car pooling lah!! Luckly there are 5 of us so no probs!!

Due to that worst situation we only managed to drop by at Grand Plaza Indonesia and buy some food for supper. Suprisingly we need to scan our bags before entering their mall!! Then we head to Salero Jumbo, claimed as the best Nasi Padang in Jakarta by our driver to have our dinner. Well not bad!! We also get our own simpack yuhuu!! internet access babe!!

Owhh the best juice ever!! Jakarta has the best juice ever!! It feels like u put ur straw inside some fresh juice and yaa freshness and yummy and hahahha I never found any fresh fruit juice like that here in KL!! and it's cheap..cost u around rm3 only!!

Well nothing much to do on the first half day in Jakarta. Wait for the next post from Jakarta :)
